Lovecraft’s Untold Stories is a roguelike action game combined with RPG elements, taking players on a journey of horror stories based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Lovecraft’s Untold Stories is inspired by the horror stories of H.P. Lovecraft, allows players to experience the cosmic horror created by the genius of Providence. Each character will participate in an investigation that takes them through different locations, from creepy old Victorian mansions to abandoned hospitals where taboo experiments take place, to forests where Tribes held forgotten ceremonies. Randomly generated levels ensure that each playthrough will be a different experience. Players will search for items and clues to unlock new secrets and stories, adding excitement and surprise to the game.
Five Characters, Five Different Fighting Styles
Players can choose to play as five different characters, each with their own unique gameplay and storyline. You can choose to be a private detective, a witch, a thief, a professor or even a vampire. Each character has different stats, weapons and fighting moves, creating five completely different playing experiences.
For example, the detective offers balanced gameplay with average health and stamina, while the professor is an expert in ranged combat with the special shield from his Tillinghast weapon. The witch has the ability to deal great damage and teleport, but has very low health. The thief is a close combat expert with stealth abilities to maximize damage. Vampires deal massive melee damage, have high health, and heal themselves, but cannot use med kits.

In Lovecraft’s Untold Stories, you’ll fight hundreds of different monsters from the Cthulhu Mythos in an intense roguelite action game. Each character has their own storyline, leading them through randomly generated levels in different locations from Lovecraft’s stories such as a hospital, jungle or port city. You will face Great Old Ones such as Great Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, Dagon, Shub-Niggurath and Azathoth in special levels.
Thorough investigation is key in the game, you’ll explore every nook and cranny to find secret levels and knowledge of the Great Old Ones. Knowledge of mythology is necessary to stand a chance at fighting the Great Old Ones, otherwise their presence may drive you mad. During your adventure, you will have to make important decisions, and making the wrong ones can shake your sanity. If sanity drops too low, you may begin to lose your mind and take your own life to escape the horror.
You can choose between five different characters, each with their own unique fighting style and skills. The levels also vary depending on the character you play as, creating a completely different gameplay experience each time. Collecting and improving weapons, items, and artifacts is an important part of the game. Each character has their own set of weapons and items, and there are also hundreds of other items you can find and use. Find clues and special items to unlock new secrets and stories.
